Depression and anxiety are among the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we experience and occur for many of us at some point in our lives. Through treatment with therapy, it is possible to recover motivation, find new perspective, reconnect with the joy that you once had in your life, and find greater freedom and balance.
Stress is a main reason that we lack balance in our lives because it creates a focus on one particular area, often to the detriment of others. Whether your stress comes from life transitions, work, caregiving or other factors, taking the time to explore how your stress is affecting you and finding strategies for addressing the imbalance can lead to more satisfaction and contentment with life.
Issues with self-esteem and sleep can result from and also contribute to depression, anxiety and stress. Focusing on these issues alone can result in improvement in other areas and help to establish balance in your life.

All therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes long. Most sessions are currently being conducted by phone or video, as I have found that this can be more convenient for many people. It is important to ensure that you are somewhere comfortable and private during the sessions, where you can focus on the discussion and speak freely. Additionally, I do have some limited availability for in person sessions.
There is a fee of $150 (HST included) for each therapy session, which is due at the end of the session. Upon payment, a receipt will be provided. If you have benefits that cover therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist, you will be able to submit your receipt to the insurance company for reimbursement.
